The position
As our new Manager, you will lead a team of 9 dedicated team members and be part of our Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (API) Purification Plant in Kalundborg (PP KA), which is an API facility with approx. 550 employees working day and night to produce marketed insulin, GLP-1, and obesity products for patients around the world.
You will be positioned in Business Support and be Head of Supply Chain & Finance, responsible for Finance, Project Controlling, Procurement, Supply Chain & masterdata team.
Your key responsibilities and deliveries include:
- Cultivating a high performing team culture with strong engagement & well-being, focusing on people development and continuous process optimization
- Leading the budgeting process and acting as a strategic partner to the management team, you team, and related departments
- Overseeing project controlling for investment projects in close collaboration with the Project Office and Project Portfolio Manager
- Purchasing production materials, spare parts, hardware etc. and negotiating and managing Service Level Agreements on behalf of the factories
- Managing our supply chain of critical production materials, including forecasting & inventory control, in close coordination with central supply chain functions & suppliers
Your role also involves close collaboration with the factories and the central Supply Chain & Finance function to ensure that we effectively deliver on our agreed commitments.
Additionally, you will be an integral part of the leadership team in PP Business Support.
Qualifications
To succeed in this position, we believe you to:
- Hold a master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Economics, Business Administration, Engineering, or another related field
- Demonstrate strong leadership skills, with a proven ability to build trust, foster engagement, and support team well-being
- Possess solid experience in Supply Chain Management and/or Finance acquired within a complex function in a highly regulated industry
- Showcase professional proficiency in both spoken and written English
It would be considered as an advantage if you speak Danish.

About the department
You will be a part of a Business Support department in one of our production facilities in Kalundborg, Denmark. The department is app. 100 highly engaged employees divided into 5 different teams. The department is supporting productions within Supply Chain, Finance, training, document handling, Process Operator Trainees, digitalization, advanced data analysis, modelling & simulations.
Our main goal is to support our four factories with the best possible business support, within our areas of responsibility. We are working closely together with our colleagues across the factories and the central business support function.
