The position

As our Clinical Operations Manager, you will collaborate closely with the Head of Clinical Operations and Therapeutic Area (TA) Heads to meet organizational objectives and drive departmental initiatives. You will promote standardization and consistency across trials in terms of quality, processes, and site management and ensure compliance with Novo Nordisk policies, external regulations, and ICH-GCP standards in all aspects of clinical trials.

Your main accountabilities will include:

  • Lead and develop a team of Clinical Research Associates (CRAs) to ensure timely and high-quality clinical trial execution.

  • Oversee resource and workload management to ensure optimal team performance and business continuity.

  • Drive a quality and efficiency mindset within the team, leveraging tools like  risk-based quality monitoring and constantly seeking opportunities to enhance productivity.

  • Drive teamwork mind-set and foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful trial delivery and site performance.

  • Actively contribute to cross-functional collaboration and alignment of clinical operations processes

 

Qualifications

We are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications:

  • Master’s level education preferable with >1 year of experience from a similar position and > 5 years in clinical research in a pharmaceutical company or Clinical Research Organization
  • Basic GCP qualification
  • Familiarity with electronic clinical trial systems and IT tools.
  • Experience in healthcare industry roles, particularly in expanding site networks and adapting to changes in clinical operations.
  • A proactive mindset with the ability to identify and adapt to changes in the working environment.
