Haemophilia has restricted 11-year-old Manoj to indoor activities.
Outdoor activities are stressful which causes bleed and pain. He feels
he isn’t normal like other kids. Novo Nordisk is changing haemophilia
with an aim that his dreams don’t bleed and he feel normal like
Harshit’s journey with Haemophilia started when he was 1.5 years. He
is fed up of bleeding, as that causes too much pain. He has suffered a
lot and not been able to enjoy. Novo Nordisk is changing haemophilia
with an aim that his dreams don’t bleed and he can enjoy life.
Dr. Raman Khanna is a perfect example of a leader who
fights relentlessly for masses. Dr. Raman Khanna had suffered the
worst drawbacks of haemophilia and unavailability of medicines. His
parents got in touch with Hemophilia Federation of India whose help
was critical in the detection and treatment of hemophilia. It was
this moment where he decided to make a difference by pursuing
medical sciences. An MD in Public Health, Dr. Khanna won a case for
providing free treatment for haemophilia patients in 2007. He still
works relentlessly to ensure availability of medicines to the needy.
Despite being detected with Haemophilia at the age of 6, Manoj is
enjoying his childhood like other kids. Early detection and right
therapy helped him continue his education and pursue his dreams.
He aspires to be a scientist or a doctor.
